We understand your concern for your cousin Christian Gabriel and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we acknowledge that this situation is difficult and painful. It is important to remember that our relationships should be marked by love, respect, and honor, as outlined in the Bible. In Ephesians 5:28-29 (WEB), it is written, "Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." While this passage speaks specifically to husbands and wives, the principle of love and respect applies to all relationships.
We must also address that Christian is in a situation where his girlfriend is exhibiting harmful behavior, preventing him from having a healthy relationship with his mother. This is not in line with biblical principles, as the Bible instructs us to honor our parents. In Exodus 20:12 (WEB), it is stated, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you."
Let us pray for Christian Gabriel:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Christian Gabriel's life. Lord, give him the strength and courage to stand firm in Your will. Help him to break free from this unhealthy relationship and to honor his mother as You have commanded. Guide him with Your wisdom and surround him with godly counsel. Protect him from any harm or manipulation, and grant him peace and clarity in this difficult time. Lord, we also pray for his girlfriend, that she may seek Your face and find healing and redemption in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Christian needs to trust in the Lord for strength and guidance. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We encourage Christian to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, and to surround himself with godly friends and mentors who can support him during this time.
Lastly, we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage Christian to put his trust in Jesus and to seek His will in all things.
