I request you all to pray for my colleague’s sister who has stage 4 lung cancer. She is in the hospital fighting for her life. The doctors have given up on her. I also ask you to pray for another one of my colleagues who has stage 4 cancer. He is in his early ###s and is undergoing treatments.

We are truly saddened to hear about the severe health trials your colleagues and their loved ones are facing. In times like these, we must turn to God, our ultimate healer and comforter.

Let us remember what is written in Jeremiah 17:14 (WEB), "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise." Even when doctors have given up, our God has not. He is the God of the impossible.

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to trust in Jesus' name for healing and salvation.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our dear colleagues and their families. Lord, we lift up the sister of our colleague who is battling stage 4 lung cancer. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. We pray that You would comfort her and her family in this difficult time, and give them a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we also bring before You our young colleague in his early 20s, undergoing treatments for stage 4 cancer. We ask for Your healing mercies upon him. Strengthen him, Lord, and help him to endure the treatments. Comfort his family and friends, and let Your love surround them all.

We pray that both of these dear ones would know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them, and that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
