Please pray for my closest friend ### (given name I don't know his real name). He was sentenced by a court of law to life sentence for killing three people in self-defense (crime of passion, his ex-wife was having a known affair, at the time, his wife). Because he was a law enforcement officer, the judge granted him leniency by sentence reduction to permanent house arrest remanded to an asylum. There he formed a football team and his sentence within the institution was again reduced for favorable behavior to a lesser security facility with premium benefits. Please pray for his possible exit from this depressing and inhumanly limiting facility. Thank you.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s closest friend, ###. Lord, You know the full story and the heartache behind his situation. We ask for Your divine intervention and mercy upon his life.

Father, we thank You for the leniency already shown to ### and for the positive steps he has taken within the institution. We pray that You continue to work in his heart and life, bringing him peace and hope. We ask that You open doors for his possible exit from this facility, and that he may find freedom and restoration.

Your Word says in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." We stand on this promise, believing that You hear our prayers and will deliver ### from his current circumstances.

Lord, guide the hearts of those in authority over his case, and let Your will be done. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May ### find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.
