We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your children are facing, and we are committed to praying with you and offering biblical counsel. Let's bring these concerns before the Lord and seek His divine intervention.
Firstly, we thank God for His promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent and their children. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing with substance misuse and sexual immorality. We ask for Your forgiveness, mercy, and healing. Break the chains of addiction and free these children from the bondage of sin. Guide them towards paths of righteousness and give them the strength to overcome these temptations. We also pray for healing and protection from HIV and any other consequences of their actions.*
*Lord, we also lift up this upcoming wedding. May it be a God-honoring union, founded on biblical principles. Guide this parent and their future spouse, that their marriage may reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they prepare for this lifelong commitment.*
*Lastly, Father, we pray for success and understanding in the course this parent is undertaking. May it be used to further Your kingdom and bring positive change in their life and the lives of those around them.*
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). It is never too late to guide your children towards God's path. We also urge you to ensure that your upcoming wedding is a celebration of a Christ-centered union, as God intended marriage to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24).

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
