Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name to lift up our fellow believer, NEWHOPE. Lord, You know their need today. They need their car to pass the smog test and to travel safely to work and back home. We ask that You will be with them, protecting them, and providing favor and grace in this situation. We know that whether it's a big or small thing, God is always in control. Thank you and blessings to NEWHOPE.

These things remind us that God loves us and wants us to trust Him with all our lives and live with a simple faith.

"Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 (WEB).

Be anxious for nothing. It is a great verse to remember every day, but especially in times like these. Remember that this world, the wonders of modern life like cars and tests, and even our souls belong to God. We have a commission to tell people about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, 'But the righteous shall live by faith.' Romans 1:16. Trusting Jesus to change one's life is the most important thing, being empowered by the Holy Spirit to live righteously and by faith.

We come before You today, lifting up our friend's car situation. Lord, we ask that You would grant favor and grace in this smog test. We trust that You are in control, and we believe that You will make a way for their car to pass. We also pray for a safe commute to work and back home.
