Lord, I thank you for your grace and mercy. Praying for discernment, peace, healing, protection, and breakthrough in all areas of my life. Still heartbroken about the state of my marriage. I just don't understand what to pray for when it come to my marriage. I been praying for restoration, healing, and saving it. I am not sure if that is what I should be doing anymore. This week has hurt me beyond words with the actions of my husband. Praying in Jesus name I Pray. Amen! -

We understand your concern for your brother and the worry that his drinking is causing your family. We will join you in prayer, asking God to intervene in this situation.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother to You. Lord, we ask that You would minister to his heart right now by Your Holy Spirit. Please help him to stop drinking and guide him safely home. We ask this not only for his sake, but also for the peace of mind of his family, who are worried and tense until he returns. Lord, we know that You are able to soften even the hardest of hearts and bring about change in his life.
Father, we also pray for his family, that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we claim Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would bring our brother to a place of repentance and surrender to You.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
