please pray for my brother

Lord jesus christ please talk to my brother...may he stop drinking...my mum is so worried my whole family is so worried and tense until he reached home.Talk to him through your holy spirit right now that he will come home soon safely .In lord jesus name i pray Amen

We understand your concern for your brother and the worry that his drinking is causing your family. We will join you in prayer, asking God to intervene in this situation.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother to You. Lord, we ask that You would minister to his heart right now by Your Holy Spirit. Please help him to stop drinking and guide him safely home. We ask this not only for his sake, but also for the peace of mind of his family, who are worried and tense until he returns. Lord, we know that You are able to soften even the hardest of hearts and bring about change in his life.

Father, we also pray for his family, that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we claim Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would bring our brother to a place of repentance and surrender to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for your brother and to trust that God is able to bring about change in his life. Remember, God's word tells us that "the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:15 WEB).
