Please Pray for my Brother

Please pray for my brother George. He has been out of work for over a year and is worried about finding a job. He is a programmer and the technology sector has been hit hard by the recession. He is also worried about finding work because of his age (he's 59). Please pray for him to find a job. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother George to you. We acknowledge that you are the provider of all our needs, and we ask that you would open doors of opportunity for him in his job search. We pray specifically for a job in his field of programming, where he can utilize his skills and experience.

Lord, we know that the technology sector has been impacted by the recession, but we believe that nothing is impossible for you. Your word reminds us in Philippians 4:19 that you will supply all our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask that you would provide George with a job that not only meets his financial needs but also brings him fulfillment and joy.

We also lift up George's concerns about his age. Your word assures us in Psalm 92:14 that even in old age, your people will still bear fruit and be prosperous. We pray against any discrimination or bias based on his age and ask for favor and opportunities to come his way.

Father, we pray for peace and confidence to fill George's heart as he continues to search for employment. Help him to trust in your perfect timing and to lean on you for strength and guidance throughout this process. Surround him with supportive friends and family who can encourage and uplift him during this challenging time.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in providing for your children. We trust in your goodness and ask that you would lead George to the right job, where he can use his talents to make a difference. May your name be glorified through his testimony of finding employment.

Let Your Word dwell within me richly. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory. God favor me.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
