Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Steve to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are our healer and our deliverer, and we ask that You pour out Your mercy and love upon Steve. Your Word says in Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." We ask that You send Your healing Word to Steve right now, touching his body and relieving him of the constant pain from his back injury.
Lord, we also ask for freedom from the chains of addiction that have bound Steve. Your Word promises in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We pray that Steve experiences this freedom through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Break the hold of opioids over his life, and give him the strength and support he needs to overcome this addiction.
Father, Steve is in bad health and feels alone. We ask that You surround him with Your love and bring people into his life who will show him compassion and care. Your Word assures us in Hebrews 13:5, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Let Steve feel Your presence and know that he is never truly alone.
We pray for Steve's salvation, that he may come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Your Word says in Romans 10:13, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" We ask that You soften Steve's heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he call upon Your name and receive the gift of eternal life.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for the work You are doing in Steve's life. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in Steve's life, and may he be transformed by Your grace. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
