Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Shelby to you. We ask for your divine intervention and guidance as he undergoes a swallowing test today at 9:30 am for fluids. Lord, we pray that you would grant him strength and peace during this procedure. We ask that you would guide the medical professionals involved, giving them wisdom and discernment to accurately assess Shelby's condition.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 107:20 that you sent your word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. We claim this promise over Shelby's life, believing that you are the ultimate healer and restorer. We ask for a positive outcome from this test, that Shelby's swallowing abilities would be restored and that he would experience a full recovery.
We also pray for comfort and reassurance for Shelby and his loved ones during this time of uncertainty. May your presence surround them, bringing peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in your perfect plan and to find strength in knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are working all things together for good. May Shelby's test be successful, bringing him closer to complete healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
