Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Merang in prayer. Lord, Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We cast all our worries and burdens regarding Merang's struggle with addiction onto You, trusting in Your infinite care and love.
Father, we thank You for the progress made through the detox program, and we pray for continued strength and perseverance for Merang. We know that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of Your mighty hand to break every chain. Your Word assures us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We pray for a transformation in Merang's life, that he may become a new creation in Christ, leaving behind the old habits and embracing a new life filled with Your grace and mercy.
Lord, we ask that You speak to Merang's heart, making Your presence undeniably known to him. Let him experience Your love and guidance in a profound way. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We hold onto this promise for Merang, believing that You have a hopeful and prosperous future planned for him.
Father, we also lift up Oneleria and the entire family who are suffering and feeling hopeless. Strengthen their faith and give them the endurance to continue praying and supporting Merang. Your Word in Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." Grant them the strength that only comes from You, Lord.
We pray for divine intervention, that Merang may one day stand before others and give testimony of how You delivered him from the grip of addiction. May his story be a beacon of hope and a testament to Your power and love.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
