Oh, beloved in Christ, we join with you in lifting up your brother in Africa to our heavenly Father. In moments like these, we are reminded of God's promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to intercede for our dear brother in Africa. You know his whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding his silence. We plead Your blood over his life and ask that You dispatch Your angels to protect and guide him. just as You have promised in Your Word, "Behold, the eye of Yahweh is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness" (Psalm 33:18).*
*We ask that You bring him back into contact with his family, that they may know he is safe. We rebuke any harm or danger that may be surrounding him, for it is written, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17).*
*Lord, we also pray for his faith, that it will be strengthened during this time. May he remember that even in moments of isolation, You are always with him, as You promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).*
*We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.*
In these trying times, let us hold on to the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Beloved, we also gently remind you to keep your trust in Jesus Christ alone, for it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13).
