We are deeply saddened to hear about your brother's condition and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. We believe that God has the power to heal and restore, even in the most desperate of situations.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 32:27 (WEB), "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We believe that God can heal your brother, even from this severe condition.
However, we also want to address the issue of drug overdose. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that this situation will be a wake-up call for your brother to turn away from drugs and turn to Jesus Christ, who can set him free from all bondages.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the life of our dear brother. Lord, You are the great physician, and we believe that You can heal him from this brain damage. We claim Your promise that there is nothing too hard for You. We also pray that this situation will bring him closer to You, that he may realize the destructive path he was on and turn to You for forgiveness and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's power to heal and save. Keep praying and believing, and we will join you in your petitions. We also urge you to share the gospel with your brother, reassuring him that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that he can be saved and set free from his past.
