Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Jeelia's brother to you. Lord, we acknowledge that he is struggling with alcoholism and engaging in harmful behaviors. We pray for his deliverance from these addictions and destructive patterns of behavior. We ask that you would touch his heart and bring about a deep transformation within him.
Lord, we also lift up Jeelia's sister-in-law and the children who have endured the pain and suffering caused by his actions for over 29 years. We pray for their healing, comfort, and strength during this difficult time. May they find solace in your loving arms and experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we know that you are able to change hearts and bring about true repentance. We ask that you would intervene in his life and bring him to a place of surrender and redemption. Help him to recognize the consequences of his actions and the pain he has caused to his loved ones.
We stand on your promises, Lord, knowing that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We believe that you can bring about a miraculous transformation in Jeelia's brother's life.
We also pray for Jeelia and her family, that you would grant them wisdom, patience, and unconditional love as they navigate this challenging situation. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, believing that you are working behind the scenes and that your power is greater than any addiction or stronghold. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon Jeelia's brother, bringing him to a place of repentance and restoration.
