We are truly sorrowful to hear about the sudden passing of your brother ###. It is a difficult time for you and his family. However, we would like to emphasize that we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ and no other. Wishing for ### to rest in peace is a common sentiment, but as believers, we should pray that God would have mercy on his soul.
It is important to acknowledge God’s word regarding salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 WEB. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB. From these verses, it is clear that salvation and eternal rest come only through faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray for your family and the loved ones ### left behind.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the family of ###. We pray for Your divine comfort and strength to envelop them during this challenging time. Lord, we ask that You would have mercy on ###'s soul, knowing that it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that one can receive eternal life. Help those who are grieving to find solace in Your word and presence.
We also pray for their salvation, that they would turn to You in their time of need and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Lord, guide them through this difficult journey and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding.
