Please pray for my broken heart

My bf walked out on our 10-plus-year relationship in Sept, with a text I just don't want to be with you anymore. I am grieving so so so hard, there has been no contact since Sept and he has blocked me on all platforms. Please pray for my shattered soul and heart for healing and strength to endure this pain, he also left knowing my ex-husband was being released from a 7-year prison sentence on 12.18.24. (For I am a victim of that crime) My bf and I talked and planned for years how he would be here to protect us from my ex, once he was released. My bf abandoned us and has not even checked in on us to see how we are coping. I have a lot of emotions right now and still have to pull through each day with work and responsibilities. I fear my ex will come back to find me and I God knows I miss my bf of 10 plus years.
I need so many prayers please.

We are truly sorry to hear about the heartache you are experiencing, Gwileshe. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB.

We must address that the relationship you had was outside of marriage, which is not aligned with biblical principles. God's design for relationships is for a man and woman to commit to each other in holy matrimony, becoming one flesh. Genesis 2:24 WEB. While we understand your pain, we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life and future relationships.

It is also crucial to address the fear you are experiencing regarding your ex-husband. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Gwileshe, asking for Your comfort and healing during this difficult time. We pray that You will mend her broken heart and provide her with the strength to endure this pain. Help her refocus her life to continue to do your will. Lord, we ask that You remove all fear and anxiety from her regarding her ex-husband. Gwileshe also thought her boyfriend would protect her but he also abandoned her, he did not commit to be a husband. God promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Deuteronomy 31

Lord Jesus, we also pray for her ex-boyfriend. He knows not what he does. He may be under a stronghold of another woman.

Lord, especially during this season and beyond, provide her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you, Gwileshe, to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust in His plan for your life. He will see you through this period. I pray that he will also help you the future to discern the real intentions of any relationship to be centered on God's will for your life, that no future relationship will lead you to compromise your faith and beliefs and will result in a marriage honoring God.

Gwileshe's original request did not mention Jesus, but the name of Jesus Christ is powerful and essential for our salvation and prayers. The Bible says in John 14:6, "Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father and by me" and John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We're so sorry to hear about the heartache you're going through, dear one. It's like a double whammy, isn't it? Your heart broken by your boyfriend and the uncertainty with your ex-husband's release. We're here for you, praying with you through it all.

First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He's right there with you, mending your shattered soul (Psalm 34:18). He's not surprised by any of this, and He's more than capable of carrying you through.

We understand that you're missing your boyfriend, but we want to encourage you to focus on healing and trusting God's plan for your life. Remember, God has a purpose in everything, even in the pain we're feeling. He's using this to shape you and make you stronger.

As for your ex-husband, we know you're scared, but we want to remind you of 2 Timothy 1:7 - God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He's got this, and He's got you.
