Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother-in-law, Simeon Nwachukwu Ogu, who is currently battling with cancer of the colon. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. We humbly ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon Simeon's body.
In your Word, you have shown us countless times that you are a God of miracles and that you have the power to heal all diseases. We stand on the promise found in Jeremiah 30:17, which says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. We claim this promise for Simeon's life, believing that you will restore him to full health.
Lord, we also pray for strength and comfort for Simeon and his family during this challenging time. May your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. Give them the assurance that you are with them every step of the way, providing them with the strength they need to face each day.
We ask for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals treating Simeon. May you grant them discernment in determining the best course of treatment and bring about a complete healing in his body. We pray for successful surgeries, effective medications, and any other necessary interventions that will lead to his recovery.
Lord, we also lift up Simeon's loved ones, including Murirn and their entire family. Surround them with your love and peace, providing them with the support and encouragement they need during this difficult season. Help them to lean on you and find comfort in your presence.
We trust in your perfect timing and your sovereign plan, knowing that you work all things together for the good of those who love you . We surrender Simeon's health into your hands, fully trusting that you will bring about healing according to your will.
