We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Jonathan_M's best friend, Devan, who selflessly saved Jonathan_M's life by performing the Heimlich maneuver. Lord, we thank You for Devan's quick thinking and bravery, and for the precious gift of life that was preserved through his actions.
We ask that You bless Devan abundantly for his kindness and courage. May Your hand of protection and favor be upon him in all that he does. We pray that their friendship continues to grow stronger, rooted in the love and grace that You have shown them.
Lord, we are reminded of Your words in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." Devan's actions reflect this great love, and we are deeply thankful.
