Please pray for my adult son he has gone into detox for drug addiction and is really struggling physically and mentally. And he says when he tries to pray that he feels like he is attacked with evil thoughts and things. Please pray that he will be able to bear up and stay and give up and leave. And that the Lord will deliver him and protect him from the enemy and from temptation. Thank you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s adult son who is currently in detox for drug addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that he is facing physical and mental struggles during this difficult time. We ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his body, mind, and spirit.

Lord, we rebuke the work of Satan in his life and declare victory in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that you would free him from the power of addiction and break every chain that binds him. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over ###'s son, believing that you will set him free from the bondage of addiction.

Father, we ask that you would strengthen his resolve to stay in detox and give him the courage to resist the temptations that may come his way. Protect him from the attacks of the enemy and shield him from evil thoughts and influences. Your Word assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, to provide a way of escape for him.

We pray for your deliverance and restoration in his life. Fill him with your love, grace, and peace. Surround him with a supportive community of believers who will encourage and uplift him in his journey towards recovery. May he experience the transforming power of your Holy Spirit, leading him into a life of freedom and purpose.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer them. We trust in your perfect timing and sovereign plan for ###'s son. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you very much for this prayer. I am praying in agreement with this and reading over it to stay in faith. It encouraged me.
