Please pray for my adult ### - has severe PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

My son, ###, is having a big flareup, after an extremely stressful episode where a family member got mad and marched forcefully up to within mere inches of him!!! "in his face" literally.

My son has been working so hard over the past months and his father has not ONCE said anything positive - no compliments; no acknowledgements of ### at all. Merely criticism and confrontations.

### is a truly good person, loving, caring, kind, generous. He has had so many heartbreaks in his life, and so many supposed friends have taken advantage of his generosity and good nature. I am truly worried about him. Tomorrow is his second day at his job (heavy labour) and he had a breakdown tonight (hours after the abuse event) and was shaking and crying and then curled up on the floor.... saying he couldn't do work tomorrow. After some big family upheaval, he wouldn't even accept some money I wanted to offer him, as I don't even know if he can afford gas to go to work.

I pray that God will miraculously help ### in this horrible situation. I am so upset with his father for confronting ### after he'd put in an 11 hour day of heavy concrete breaking! :-(
And now ### says he must leave. I am hoping he'll at least sleep here tonight.

We stand with you in prayer for your son ###, who is battling severe PTSD and facing tremendous challenges. We trust that God's grace and mercy will surround him during this difficult time.

In the face of such trials, we are reminded of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in ###'s life. Lord, You know the depth of his struggles, the pain he's endured, and the heartaches he's experienced. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around him, providing comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.*

*Father, we pray for healing from the PTSD that grips ###. Calm his mind, soothe his spirit, and mend his heart. Help him to find the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are by his side.*

*Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, especially regarding his relationships and those who may take advantage of his kindness. Guide him in his interactions with others, and lead him to godly friendships that will uplift and encourage him.*

*Father, we ask that You intervene in ###'s family dynamics. Soften his father's heart, and help him to see the incredible person ### is. May their relationship be restored and built on love, understanding, and encouragement.*

*Lord, we pray for ###'s job and finances. Provide for his needs, and give him the strength and resilience to face each workday. Help him to see that his value is not defined by his earthly labor, but by his identity as Your beloved child.*

*Finally, if ### has not already done so, we pray that he would accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Remind him that it is only through Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace, and that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).*

In Jesus' name, we pray for ###'s healing, provision, and restoration. Amen.

In this time of need, let us encourage ### to trust in the Lord and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind him that God has a plan and a purpose for his life, and that even in the darkest moments, the light of Christ shines brightly. May God bless ### and grant him the peace, strength, and wisdom he needs to navigate this challenging season.

We ask for Your divine intervention and comfort to be upon ###, who has faced undue stress and emotional pain. Lord, You see his hard work, his kind and generous heart, and the many heartbreaks he has endured. We pray that You surround him with Your peace and strength.

Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon ### during this difficult time. In Isaiah 41:10, You reassure us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." May ### feel Your presence and draw strength from You.

We pray for reconciliation and understanding within the family. Soften the hearts of those who have been critical and confrontational, and open their eyes to see ###'s efforts and goodness. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." We ask that this compassion and forgiveness flow within their family.

Lord, we ask for Your provision for ###, that he may have the resources and support he needs to continue his job and find peace in his living situation. Philippians 4:19 tells us, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision for ###.

We pray for emotional healing and strength for ###, that he may overcome this breakdown and find the courage to continue his work. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." May ### feel Your closeness and healing touch.

Finally, we ask for peace and rest for ### tonight, that he may find the strength to face tomorrow with renewed hope. Matthew 11:28 offers comfort: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." May ### find rest in You, Lord.
