Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Byrayl's 80-year-old mother who is undergoing back surgery. Lord, we acknowledge that this surgery is somewhat complicated and that she is feeling very scared. We ask for your divine presence to surround her during this time, bringing peace and comfort to her heart.
Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We claim this promise over Byrayl's mother, asking that you would calm her fears and grant her a sense of your presence throughout the surgery.
We pray for the medical team involved in her care, that you would guide their hands and grant them wisdom and skill. May the surgery be successful, and may her recovery be swift and complete. We ask for your healing touch to be upon her, bringing restoration and relief from any pain or discomfort.
Lord, we also lift up Byrayl and the entire family during this time. Grant them strength, faith, and peace as they support their mother through this surgery. Help them to trust in your perfect plan and to find comfort in knowing that you are in control.
We thank you, Father, for your love and faithfulness. We trust in your goodness and ask that you would bring comfort, healing, and peace to Byrayl's mother. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
