Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up MKG's prayer request for their 18-year-old daughter who is embarking on a long journey back to college. Lord, we ask that you surround her with your angels and provide her with a safe and uneventful trip. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12 that you will command your angels to guard and protect us in all our ways. We trust in your divine protection over her as she travels on the highway.
Father, we also pray for her time at college and the upcoming training to become a calculus tutor. We ask that you bless her with meaningful connections and friendships with the people she will meet during the training. May she find companionship and support, so she does not feel lonely during her time on campus. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 18:24 that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, and we pray that you bring such friends into her life.
Furthermore, Lord, we lift up the concern about the dining halls being closed and the expected snow and ice. We ask for your intervention in the weather, that it remains safe for her to drive and find food during this time. Your Word assures us in Psalm 121:7-8 that you will keep us from all harm and watch over our coming and going. We trust in your provision and guidance in this situation.
In all these things, we pray for your wisdom, grace, and divine help to be upon MKG's daughter. May she experience your love, protection, and provision throughout her journey and time at college. We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
