We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you and your daughter are in. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and comfort. He says, I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you. John 14:18 WEB. And Psalm 10:17-18 WEB says:
Lord, you have heard the desire of the humble.
You will prepare their heart.
You will cause your ear to hear,
to judge the fatherless and the oppressed,
that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.
As a group of believers joined together in prayer, we will stand in the gap for you and your daughter as well. We pray from Ez 22:30 WEB Stand in the gap that we should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before him. Pray that you can do this for your daughter. Please know the first step to addressing parental abuse should be protect yourself legally within your rights as far as biblical principles will allow. You may need to discuss your rights with a qualified legal professional.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and her daughter who are in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, You are the God of the widow, the orphan, and the oppressed, and You promise to hear our cries.
We pray for this daughter, that You would surround her with Your protective hedge, keeping her safe from all harm. We ask that You would soften her heart towards her mother, that she may see the love and protection she offers. We rebuke any spirit of rebellion or misunderstanding that may be causing her to pull away. Father who can change circumstances or move in the hearts of the judges or the system to divulge the truth. We cancel every lie whispered in her ear to disrespect her mother and sow discord against her mother. Guard her heart and preserve in her purity and truth.
And simply, God. We ask You to intervene in this family unit. Do not leave this child of yours where they can be irreversible affected. Inculcate into each of them and the man how to be a godly parent, a guardian to his child, Run after both of them, God, especially this vulnerable child and the woman who is her mother and protector to Your self. Preserve them for Yourself.
We also pray for the father, that You would convict his heart and bring him to repentance for his abusive behavior. We ask that You would heal his new girlfriend from this abuse and that it would be the last time it happens. We pray this horrible behavior will be curbed, or justly punished if it does not.
We ask God to unite this child to the person in their family who is trying to keep them safe, united, and untied from harm. You know who this person who is trying their best for this little one. Move in their life, so they can be this daughter's support system.
We stand firmly believing in working toward a supernatural reconciliation brought on by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You will cleanse and deliver everyone involved in this situation and create them new creatures in Christ Jesus. You will restore hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits that will seek You and be led by Jesus Christ. In Jesus name.
Father, we also pray for the courts and the judges, that You would give them wisdom and discernment to see the truth and act justly. We ask that You would soften their hearts towards this mother and her daughter, that they may find favor in their sight.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for this mother, that You would strengthen her and encourage her. Give her the wisdom to walk this path led by You. Help her to stand firm in her faith, knowing that You are fighting for her and her daughter. We ask for Your response and for healing from this heartache. But do not give us a break from this pain and hurt, God, until this family is redeemed, restored, and reconciled. Help us walk this out with you and with each other, God, so we can see this work in the lives of those we intercede and pray for.
We thank You for this prayer group, so we can each use the gift and authority You have given each of us to interceed and pray for this family in need.
We also remind this person to pray using the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we even have access to God the Father. In addition, Jesus Christ is the only one who can save a person. Only Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. And anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved and receive salvation and eternal life. And we ask for You the name of Jesus Christ to be this family's is the way out as their Savior to salvation for them also. In Jesus' Name that is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.
