Please pray for Mike, a friend of mine, who has serious health problems but will not take doctor's advice - which may be wrong but he is getting much worse; maybe he could/should be on disability but he won't appeal a previous denial, I'm losing sympathy but don't want to feel that way.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend Mike who is struggling with serious health problems. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Grant him the wisdom and courage to seek and follow the right medical advice, and soften his heart to consider the possibility of appealing for disability if it is Your will.

Father, we also pray for strength and compassion for those who care for Mike, especially his friend who is feeling overwhelmed. Help us to remain patient and loving, reflecting Your grace and mercy. We trust in Your perfect plan and ask for Your healing touch upon Mike. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
