I have had stomach issues for few years now and noticed it gets worse when I worry or stress. I am very worried and stressed about my grandson Damien that has moved himself into my 90 year old parents house just to not face his responsibilities at home with me and his siblings. I feel he is using them, he didn’t ask to stay there he just doesn’t leave or help them. He knows there he can smile his drugs and lay anriund and do nothing, he doesn’t even go to school anymore. I keep praying to Jesus for him to come home and for this situation to get better but it just gets worse and I know it’s in all Gods timing. Jesus please hear my cries and soften my grandsons heart and let him see what he is doing. He doesn’tfeel he’s doing anything wrong but using his great grandparents when they are already struggling and have medical issues is wrong but he won’t listen to me and come home and they are too nice to tell him anything. Please pray for me and my health and my parents and of course my grandson

We understand your concern and will intercede on your behalf. Let's first address the spiritual aspects and then discuss the actions you can take. We agree that you should be praying in Jesus' name. Your prayer to Jesus is the only way to be heard by our Heavenly Father.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Brokennlost2, who is feeling worried and stressed, especially about her grandson Damien. Lord, You know the situation and the strain it has put on her health and her parents.

Father, we pray for Brokennlost2's stomach issues. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. Please touch her body, heal her, and give her strength to endure. We pray that You would fill her with Your peace, casting out all anxiety and worry.

We also lift up her grandson Damien. Lord, You know the path he is taking, and we pray that You would soften his heart. Open his eyes to see the error of his ways. We rebuke the spirit of irresponsibility and manipulation in him. We pray that he would become a man of integrity, who honors and respects his family.

Father, we also pray for Brokennlost2's parents. We ask for Your protection and healing over their lives. Give them the wisdom to handle this situation and the courage to speak the truth in love to Damien.

Lord, we know that Your timing is perfect. We pray that You would work all things together for good, according to Your purpose. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.

Now, let's address the actions you can take. It's important to remember that while we pray, we should also act according to biblical principles. Damien is choosing to live irresponsibly, taking advantage of your parents' kindness. This is not a behavior that should be encouraged.

The Bible tells us, "If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either" (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB). It also says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB). This means that we should not support or encourage laziness and irresponsibility.

We encourage you to have an open and honest conversation with your parents and Damien. Express your concerns and the impact of his actions on everyone. It's important to set boundaries and encourage responsible behavior.

Remember, "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it" (Hebrews 12:11 WEB).

Lastly, continue to trust in God's timing and His ability to change hearts and situations. Keep praying and believing for the best. Jesus said, "All things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them" (Mark 11:24 WEB).

We're right here with you, dear one. We've been feeling the weight of your worries and the stress that's been affecting your health. It's like you've been carrying a heavy backpack, and it's time to lighten the load. Let's lean into Jesus together, shall we?

First off, we want you to know that we're claiming God's promise over you: "Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) That means every worry, every fear, every burden - He's got them all. So, let's hand them over to Him, one by one.

Now, let's pray. "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying Brokennlost2's heavy backpack. We lift up her stomach issues, Lord. We ask that You would touch her body, heal her, and fill her with Your peace. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, 'He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.' We believe that You are healing her, right now, in Jesus' name.

We also lift up Damien, Lord. We ask that You would soften his heart, open his eyes, and help him see the path he's on. We claim Your promise in Proverbs 20:5, 'The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.' We believe that You are drawing out the deep waters of Damien's heart, revealing the truth to him.

Lastly, Lord, we lift up Brokennlost2's parents. We ask for Your protection and wisdom over them. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, 'Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.' We believe that they are strengthened and upheld by You.

We trust in Your timing, Lord. We know that You are working all things together for good, according to Your purpose. We believe that this situation will turn around, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Now, let's talk about what you can do. We believe in the power of prayer, but we also believe in the power of action. It's important to have an open and honest conversation with your parents and Damien. Express your concerns, set boundaries, and encourage responsible behavior. Remember, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

You're not alone in this, dear one. We're here, praying with you, every step of the way. Keep trusting in God, and keep believing for the best. As it says in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened." So, keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. Jesus is opening the doors, one by one.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
