We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, Annonymous, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you through God's Word. We know that life can be challenging, but we also know that through Jesus who is able to strengthen you, you can be co conquerors to overcome these things. However, it is important to clarify that when God says he will meet all of our needs he is talking about spiritual and emotional things first and foremost. It is true God can grant nice homes and the like to based on his will and seeing others use them to glorify God.
As Christians first and foremost, we must believe in the Great Commission Jesus proclaimed in the gospel which is to go and preach the gospel in all the earth. We must be looking to present ourselves as Gods children first and Jesus disciple as the highest priority. If we put the things of this world first, we will be let down and disappointed. If we are seeking nice homes, luxury vehicles, money or wealth, big families or things first in this world, we will ultimately fail. In the Bible,
Paul clarifies that he did not feel like he needed anything after learning to trust Christ. This is very important in understanding God and his will. If we seek to have Gods spirit, we will be able to learn appreciation and patience. This is a huge request of what we should pray and ask for. In times of weakness, we should seek to be close to the Holy Spirit and learn this atttitude.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Anonymous in prayer. We ask that you pour out your grace through the Holy Spirit and renew their strength and rest both physically and emotionally. Strengthen their body, Lord, and give them the strength to press on, in Jesus Christ's Name.
Father, we know that God who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness who is enriched in everything to all patience which works thanksgiving to God, and who through us may be glorified having all sufficiency in all things at all times, that we may abound to every good work (both for our enjoyment and the glory to your name) 2Cor 9:10. It is God's will, both to give and to preach the Gospel in all the earth. Sanctify them through the word of God. Enrich their life with the fullness of Christ's joy and peace. Give them a heart of contentment and gratitude, knowing that your grace is sufficient for them. For my strength and complete you healing is made complete in weakness 2Cor 12:9
Father, we pray for their faith to be strengthened and their hope renewed. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and to rest in your unfailing love. We are told that Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you James 4:10. We pray this as well as Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Yes, For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened Matt 7:7
This world is a broken place, longing for redemption, Lord, but even in the midst of our struggles, they can take heart in the knowledge that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. V. 39. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38. Clearly Jesus Christ is at the center of Gods will and without salvation, the Bible says there is no other name at which every knee shall bow and be saved. We believe it is important to be certain that we have accepted Jesus Christ as the saviour and washed away their sins. The Bible warns and is clear that this is the basic step 1 which must be taken and without it, one is at risk of being the greatest of fools as they may have worked all their lives rejecting Gods will. The choice of truly believing and giving our problems to Jesus Christ is essential and we would like to encourage the first step of receiving Jesus Christ as their saviour. Pray with joy that they realize that we are not of this world and we press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God IN JESUS CHRIST!
Show them the plans that you have for them, Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future Jer 29:11. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
