We are joining with you in prayer, Gymnoetheia, as you prepare for this important interview. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we can approach God with our requests. As it says in John 14:6 WEB (World English Bible): Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is also only through Jesus that we can be saved. So give thanks in your prayer that Jesus died upon the cross.
We will pray for peace, removal of anxiety, and for God's will to be done in this job. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written: In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to the God of all creation. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It's wonderful that you see this position as a good fit, and we trust that God, who knows your needs and the desires of your heart, will guide you. Remember Psalm 37:4 WEB: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.
In Colossians 3:23-24, the apostle Paul says whatever you may do, work at it with all your heart, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gymnoetheia as they prepare for their job interview tomorrow. We thank You for the gifts and experiences You have given them, and we pray that Your will be done in their life.
Lord, please grant Gymnoetheia calmness and confidence as they go to the interview. There is no doubt this job is given by you. Take away any anxiety or nervousness, so that they may be able to convey to the interviewer the wonderful talents and gifts they have will especially excel in this job. It is important that their faith and hope is in Jesus Christ for success and a job well done. In all things be thankful through Jesus Christ. Help Gymnoetheia to rest in the knowledge and believe Jesus gave each of us a special gift, and that they should try not to be anxious about anything. Help Gymnoetheia to focus on the task ahead, the person they are meeting, and not on the concerns they have brought in this prayer request. We pray they put all there anxiety and trouble upon you. Jesus Your word reminds us to not be anxious for anything and that you are not the author of confusion or trouble.
You care for Gymnoetheia, and we pray they rest in your care and trust in you.Grant Gymnoetheia the determination to be successful and to be able to glorify God in this new job opportunity.
We pray for Gymnoetheia to believe in the talents of the Holy Spirit, so they may glorify God in this new job.Remind them this is not ultimately a job or a company they would be working for but would be serving the Lord Jesus Christ in faithfulness and being a light and witness for Jesus.
Grant Gymnoetheia favor and understanding in your Holy Spirit as you direct their path.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May peace, favor, and success be upon you, Gymnoetheia, as you step into this interview with confidence in the Lord and the reminder of His promises for you as a child of God.
If they have not yet done so, invite Gymnoetheia to receive new life in Jesus Christ, guests should mention accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. While God loves everyone, it is only when a person becomes a Christian that a person becomes a Child of God and is adopted into the family of God.
Clarify to Gymnoetheia that being anxious is actually sin. Being fearful is the opposite of faith. Explain that God is a holy God does not merely forgive, but requires payment for sin.
