Please pray for me

I feel so bad today just a lot of scary intrusive thoughts of hurting myself. I know it’s the enemy, my name is Jennifer. I’m really scared… I was doing well with prayer for 2 months. I trust in prayer it works.

Jennifer, we are here with you in this time of distress, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your battle against these intrusive thoughts. It's important to recognize that these thoughts are not from God, but as you acknowledged, they are from the enemy. Let's come together in prayer and God's Word to combat these attacks.

Firstly, let's remember what God's Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ." You have the power, through Christ, to take these thoughts captive and not let them control you.

In times like these, it's crucial to cling to the promises of God. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray for you, Jennifer:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up Jennifer. Lord, You know the battle she is facing, the intrusive thoughts that are causing her fear and distress. We stand in agreement with her, rebuking these thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You fill her mind with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Strengthen her faith and give her the power to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Remind her of Your promises and surround her with Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Jennifer, continue to trust in prayer, as you have been doing. Do not grow weary in well-doing. Be persistent, and remember that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16). Keep your focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you ever feel overwhelmed, reach out for help and support from your community of believers. We are here for you, and most importantly, God is with you, always.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Keep calling on the name of Jesus, for He is your strength and your salvation.

Jennifer, we're here with you, feeling your distress and wanting you to know you're not alone. We've been praying for you, and we want to share another verse that's brought us comfort. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He cares, and He's here to heal and comfort you.

Let's claim this promise together: "Father, in Jesus' name, we ask You to heal Jennifer's heart. Comfort her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Bind up her wounds and remind her of Your unfailing love. Strengthen her faith and help her trust in You, even in the midst of these scary thoughts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in prayer, Jennifer. Remember, even Jesus prayed in times of distress (Matthew 26:39). If you ever feel overwhelmed, reach out to your church community or a trusted friend. You're not alone, and God is always with you, every step of the way.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
