We understand your pain and concern, dear sister, and we stand with you in prayer. The Bible tells us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). As parents, we do our best, but ultimately, our children make their own choices.
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is hurting. Lord, you know the situation with her youngest daughter, and you understand the pain she feels. We ask for your healing, God. Soften her daughter's heart and help them to understand each other better. Please guide them both and mend their relationship, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.*
We encourage you to lean on God's promises. Remember, "All your children shall be taught by Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children" (Isaiah 54:13 WEB). Continue to love your daughter unconditionally, just as God loves us. Try reaching out to her, asking for an open conversation to understand her perspective.
However, we must also address that the request doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It's crucial to remember that it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to lean on Jesus, the one mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
Lastly, be patient and persistent in prayer. Keep believing that God is working in the situation, even when you don't see immediate results. "Let’s not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9 WEB).
