We understand your desire to succeed, Sutryth, and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what the apostle Paul told the Colossians, "Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). This includes your studies and your upcoming exam.
We also want to encourage you with these words from the Bible, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). So, we encourage you to seek God not just for good grades, but for wisdom and understanding in your studies.
However, we want to gently rebuke the focus on just getting an 'A'. While we want you to do your best, we encourage you to seek God's will above all else. Remember, "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Sutryth. Lord, we ask that You grant them the wisdom and understanding they need as they prepare for their Econ351 midterm exam. Help them to focus not just on getting an 'A', but on learning and growing in knowledge. Let them do their best, knowing that their worth is not defined by their grades but by their identity in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Sutryth, if you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB).
