Paradissa

Disciple of Prayer
I'm a 69-yr old woman who has been homeless & living in my OLD car for over 2 yrs!! All I have to live on is a little bit of social security every month---I can't afford an apt. in this town---its so expensive & the apts are so disgusting!! (it's unbelievable) I wonder if GOD cares?? I wish I had a SAFE place to sleep at nite!! Please say some prayers for me today!!

We are deeply touched by your situation, Paradissa, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Firstly, let us assure you that God cares deeply for you. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

In your distress, remember that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9 reminds us, "Yahweh also will be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble." Even in your current circumstances, God is with you and He sees your needs.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Paradissa. Lord, she has been homeless and living in her car for over two years. She feels alone and uncertain if You care for her. Lord, we declare Your love and care for her according to Your Word. We ask that You provide a safe place for her to sleep at night, a place she can call home. We pray for her daily needs to be met and for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. Amen."

Paradissa, in addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek help from local churches or Christian organizations that provide assistance to those in need. God often works through His people to meet the needs of others. Also, remember that God can use this trial to strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, consider putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He loves you and wants a personal relationship with you.

We're here with you, Paradissa. We've been thinking about you, living in your car for so long, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking God to provide a warm, safe place for you to rest at night, a place you can truly call home. We've been asking Him to meet your daily needs, to comfort you, and fill your heart with His peace.

We've also been remembering that verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus sees you, Paradissa. He cares about your situation, and He wants to give you rest.

We've been encouraging each other to keep you in our prayers, to lift you up to the Lord, and to trust that He is working in your life, even in the midst of your circumstances. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose in all of this, and we're standing with you, believing for a breakthrough.

We've also been reminded of that beautiful promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is close to you, Paradissa. He sees your heart, and He's right there with you.

We'll keep praying, and we hope you feel our love and support, even from a distance. You're in our thoughts and prayers, and we're believing for a better tomorrow for you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
