Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is struggling with depression. We lift up their heavy heart to you, knowing that you are the God of comfort and peace. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would wrap your loving arms around our friend, bringing them healing and restoration from the depths of their despair.
Lord, we also pray for our friend's family situation. We ask that you break every curse and negative word spoken over them and their siblings regarding marriage. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that the power of life and death is in the tongue. We declare that every negative word spoken against them is null and void in Jesus' name. We pray for a release of your blessings and favor upon their lives, specifically in the areas of academic excellence, marital settlement, and favor in relationships.
Father, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us . We ask that you pour out your grace and mercy upon our friend, granting them the strength to overcome depression, the wisdom to excel academically, and the joy of experiencing your perfect plan for their life.
May your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus . We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
