Please pray for me to overcome anxiety

Going through some bad anxiety right now, mostly worries and fears about the future. It’s affecting me a lot that I can’t focus or enjoy my life.

Please pray for ### to overcome this, and to feel like ### normal self again. Please pray for ### to be happy and find joy in life again and not be miserable.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and concern for our dear friend ###, who is struggling with overwhelming anxiety. Lord, we know that You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon ### (Philippians 4:7).

Father, Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You help ### to lay down these burdens at Your feet, trusting in Your loving care and perfect plan. Remind ### that You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we pray for clarity and focus for ###. In the midst of these worries and fears about the future, help ### to remember Your promise that You have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). May this truth bring comfort and reassurance.

We also ask, Father, that You restore joy and happiness to ###’s life. Your Word says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). May ### find renewed strength and joy in Your presence, and may the worries of the future be replaced with a deep sense of Your love and provision.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
