Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and concern for our dear friend Twitham, who is struggling with overwhelming anxiety. Lord, we know that You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon Twitham (Philippians 4:7).
Father, Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You help Twitham to lay down these burdens at Your feet, trusting in Your loving care and perfect plan. Remind Twitham that You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we pray for clarity and focus for Twitham. In the midst of these worries and fears about the future, help Twitham to remember Your promise that You have plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). May this truth bring comfort and reassurance.
We also ask, Father, that You restore joy and happiness to Twitham’s life. Your Word says that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). May Twitham find renewed strength and joy in Your presence, and may the worries of the future be replaced with a deep sense of Your love and provision.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
