Please pray for my my husband to be generous to us. Please pray for my children and my husband to be healthy. Please pray for my family yo be healthy. Please pray for me to be able to take care pf my mother and my children well. Please pray for me to be healthy and live long. Please pray for my husband to stay away from any danger and be healthy. Please pray for my husband to never betray me. Please pray for me and my husband to stay loyal and faithful to each other
HIs divine power has given you, everything you need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue.
Grace, God does not want you to worry about all these things. He says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. All these things that concern you, God said, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
God does not want us to live from the place of a sin consciousness, where we are so afraid that we will make a mistake and boom, his wrath comes down. That is not God, we are in a New Covenant where God watches over us, takes care of us and we simply agree with His word.
Regarding your husband, start speaking he (husband) is gracious, full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy and he is good to us. (This works by the way, this is how the Lord told me to speak over my husband) Granted, I had to change first. I had to agree with the Lord. But he has grown in the Lord.
As for your job. When I worked for a company, I prayed everyday on the way to work that God would give me the skills, talents and gifts I need, ability, that God would give me 10 times more wisdom, knowledge and understanding so that I would be a blessing, a help and encouragement to my supervisor, coworkers, customers. I want to tell you, Holy Spirit showed me ways to make my job easier which in turn made my supervisor's job easier and the sales staff job easier. You simply want to be a blessing, a help and encouragement to your clients/customers, company. What is so awesome is you are blessed and in a place to be a blessing and bless the place simply because you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Means, you can go boldly before the throne of God.
As regarding your bills...one day as I was walking to the mailbox the Lord said to me, Joyce the school is not your provider, I am. I got so excited, why am I so concerned over a late paycheck. So I thanked the Lord, and didn't concern my self with it and the very next day it showed up.
God's heart is for his people to be free from worry and concern about how things are going to happen. Worry is the cause for things not working out because it doesn't invite God, but it surely invites the devil.
So for this reason we are told
Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
What is so exciting about those scriptures is Psalms 5:11,12
Psa 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Psa 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
You can actually speak over yourself, God blesses me with righteousness (I am the righteousness of God in Christ) with favor, You, Lord, will compass me as with a shield.
Father, thank you for your love for Grace and her family. God bless the work of her hands, she is a light to everyone she encounters. I pray you would give her the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, that her eyes be flooded with light, that she would know the hope of Your calling for her life. Thank you for blessing her and I declare shalom over her heart and mind. Let your word spark and enlighten her understanding of Christ in her, the hope of glory. In Jesus name. Amen.
