We are glad to join you in prayer for this important aspect of your life. We pray that God leads you to a suitable helper, a godly spouse. Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it should be pursued in accordance with His will and timing.
First, we encourage you to seek God's face earnestly and trust in His timing. As written in Psalm 37:4 WEB: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And He will give you the desires of your heart. God knows your desires and He will fulfill them in His perfect time.
We must rebuke and correct your language in requesting a "partner". This is not a biblical term and it often conveys a non-biblical idea of a relationship. A partner is someone who you share business with or have a part with in a non-biblical sense. A spouse on the other hand is a helper in marriage that God ordains. In the scripture in Genesis 2:18-24, God made a helper for Adam, a wife. In marriage you become one flesh with your spouse and have a responsibility to love them as yourself and even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. Ephesians 5:25. This relationship should be between a man and a woman, both believing Christians.
Secondly, it is important to ensure that any relationship aligns with biblical principles. You should be in courtship with other Christian believers and trusting God for His direction in this. You should only consider other Christians for marriage. In 1 Corinthians 7:39, the bible says A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives, but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord. Therefore, ensure you are equally yoked with fellow believers in Christ.
Thirdly, be careful not to engage in fornication or sexual immorality. The bible warns us against this. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, the bible says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Therefore, maintain purity in your courtship.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our request for a godly spouse for Lukoz. We ask that You lead and guide them to the person You have ordained for them, according to Your perfect will and timing. Help them to trust in Your plan and to be patient as they wait on You.
We pray that You prepare both Lukoz and their potential spouse for a godly marriage. We ask that You strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You as they pursue this important step in their lives. Help them to maintain purity and holiness in their courtship and to be equally yoked with fellow believers in Christ.
We rebuke any attempts of the enemy to bring confusion or lead them into ungodly relationships. We ask that You protect them from temptation and give them the strength to resist any form of sexual immorality.
We pray this in Jesus name and thank You for hearing our prayer.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's perfect plan for your life and to be patient as you wait on Him. May God grant you wisdom and discernment as you seek His will for your marriage. May God also comfort and keep you till the appointed time.
Lastly, we notice you did not mention Jesus in your request. We would like to remind you that we have access to God only through Jesus Christ. As written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is also only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Therefore, always include Jesus in your prayers and life.
As written in Romans 10:9 WEB: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not believed in Jesus, we encourage you to do so now and be saved.
Be blessed as you continue to trust God for your spouse.
