Please pray for me to lose weight. I promised God that I would lose weight and do a marathon raising money for charity, but I just haven’t been able to stick to a diet and exercise programme. It is important that I lose weight as my BMI is raised and I would like to be healthy and a stable weight. Please help me not be overweight and help me lose 10kg dear God. I need to do it for You and myself as my body is a temple given to me by You. Help me stop my sugar addiction, and craving unhealthy food. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister Funea. Lord, she has a sincere desire to honor You with her body, which is Your temple. We ask for Your divine strength and guidance as she embarks on this journey to lose weight and improve her health.

Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them. Help Funea to remember this truth and to find the motivation and discipline she needs to stick to her diet and exercise program.

Lord, we pray that You would break the chains of her sugar addiction and cravings for unhealthy food. Grant her the self-control and perseverance that come from Your Spirit, as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.

We also ask for Your blessing on her goal to run a marathon and raise money for charity. May this endeavor not only bring glory to Your name but also serve as a testimony of Your power and grace in her life.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
