Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Your child who is seeking Your guidance, strength, and confidence. Lord, we thank You for the transformation happening in their life as they draw closer to You, seeking purity and a deeper relationship with You. Your Word reminds us, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). We praise You for Your faithfulness in answering their prayers and helping them grow spiritually.
Father, we pray for courage and wisdom as they navigate their feelings for this girl in their class. You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with confidence to approach her with authenticity, kindness, and respect, seeing her as a person of value created in Your image.
Lord, we thank You for the steps they have taken to pursue holiness and turn away from sin. Your Word says, “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to Your Word” (Psalm 119:9). Continue to strengthen their resolve to honor You in their thoughts, actions, and relationships. May their commitment to purity and Your will be a testimony of their faith and trust in You.
Father, guide their interactions with this girl, allowing their words and actions to reflect Christlike love and humility. Let Your Spirit guide them in timing and discernment as they consider asking her out. Your Word declares, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9). Align their desires with Your perfect will and plan.
We pray for Your blessings on this potential relationship, should it be Your will. Let it be built on mutual respect, understanding, and shared values that honor You. As Your Word teaches, “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14), may their actions be guided by genuine care and Christ-centered love.
Finally, Lord, continue to grow this child of Yours in faith and trust. Thank You for the ways You are drawing them closer to You and showing Your goodness. Remind them always that Your plans are for their good, as Your Word says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
In the name of Jesus, we ask all these things, trusting in Your will and timing. Amen.
