Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Taeweth and their prayer request to give up smoking tobacco. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction can be a difficult battle, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We believe that you have the power to break every chain and set Taeweth free from this addiction.
Father, we ask that you fill Taeweth with the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. Your Word tells us in Romans 14:17, "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." We pray that as Taeweth seeks to give up smoking, they would experience the abundant peace and joy that comes from knowing you.
Lord, we pray for strength and determination for Taeweth as they face the challenges of quitting smoking. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We ask that you grant Taeweth the strength to resist temptation and overcome any cravings that may arise. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory over this addiction.
We also pray for your guidance and wisdom, Lord. Show Taeweth the steps they need to take in order to break free from this habit. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can encourage and uplift them in their journey towards freedom.
Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness to answer them. We trust in your unfailing love and mercy. May Taeweth experience the freedom and transformation that comes from surrendering this addiction to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
