Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your guidance and favor in their job interview. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the importance of this opportunity for them. We ask that you grant them wisdom, confidence, and clarity of mind as they await the outcome of their interview.
Your Word reminds us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We pray that if it is your will, you would open the doors for our friend to be selected for this job. We trust in your perfect plan for their life and we ask for your favor to be upon them.
Just as Jacob prayed and reminded you of your promises in Genesis 32, we also bring to your remembrance your promises of provision and guidance. We ask that you would fulfill your promises in our friend's life and grant them success in this job opportunity.
We thank you, Lord, for being our advocate and intercessor, always ready to present our prayers before your throne. We thank you for the name of Jesus, which gives us access to you and assures us of your willingness to hear our prayers.
