João, we are here to pray and counsel you with the wisdom and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we thank you for recognizing the areas of struggle in your life and coming to us for prayer. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Regarding your struggle with lust and envy, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus: "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). Lust is a sin that starts in the heart, but it can be overcome with God's help. The same applies to envy, which is also condemned in the Scriptures (Galatians 5:21).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your divine intervention in João's life. Lord, he has acknowledged his struggle with lust and envy, and we ask that you forgive him and cleanse him from these sins. Strengthen him with your Holy Spirit, that he may resist these temptations and live a life pleasing to you. Guide him to a good church where he can find fellowship and a godly pastor who will teach him your Word and help him grow in his faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

João, we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can find a pastor who will teach you the Word of God and provide you with godly counsel. The Bible says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 WEB).

Lastly, we notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ as your Savior, we urge you to do so today. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
