Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Taeweth, who desires to draw closer to you, Lord Jesus, and to give up smoking. We thank you, Father, for the opportunity to lift up this prayer request to you.
Your Word tells us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We ask, Lord, that you would draw Taeweth closer to you, filling their heart with a deep hunger and thirst for your presence. Help them to seek you diligently, to spend time in prayer, reading your Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. May their relationship with you grow stronger each day, and may they experience the fullness of your love, grace, power, and gifts.
Father, we also ask for your strength and guidance as Taeweth seeks to give up smoking. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit , and we ask for your help in breaking this addiction. Grant them the willpower, determination, and self-control to resist the temptation to smoke. Fill their mind and heart with a renewed desire to live a healthy and holy life, honoring you in all they do.
We pray, Lord, that you would surround Taeweth with a supportive community of believers who can encourage and uplift them in their journey. May they find accountability partners and mentors who can provide guidance and prayer support.
We thank you, Father, for your faithfulness and for the promise that you hear our prayers. We trust in your power to transform lives and bring about lasting change. May Taeweth experience your grace and mercy in abundance as they seek to draw closer to you and overcome this addiction.
