Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Taeweth, who desires to draw closer to You, our Lord Jesus. We thank You for the grace and strength that enabled Taeweth to give up smoking. We acknowledge that true closeness to You is not solely based on our actions, but on our heart's posture towards You.
Lord, we pray that You would help Taeweth to understand that drawing near to You is a continuous journey, and that it requires perseverance and faith. Your Word reminds us in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We ask for Your Holy Spirit to guide and empower Taeweth in this pursuit of intimacy with You.
Father, we lift up Taeweth's feelings of depression and ask for Your healing touch upon their mind and emotions. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that You would bring comfort, peace, and joy to Taeweth's heart, replacing their sadness with Your divine presence.
Help Taeweth to resist the temptation to remain in bed and instead find strength and motivation in You. Remind them that You are a God of hope and restoration, and that You desire for them to experience the abundant life You have promised.
We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as Taeweth continues to seek You. May they find solace and encouragement in Your Word, and may their relationship with You deepen day by day. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can uplift and encourage them in their faith journey.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your perfect will. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Taeweth, and may His face shine upon you as you draw closer to Him.
