Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our anonymous friend who is struggling with addiction. We acknowledge that addiction can be a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of your love and grace to set them free. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:12, "I have the right to do anything," you say—but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"—but I will not be mastered by anything."
Lord, we ask that you break the chains of addiction that have bound our friend. We pray for a supernatural intervention in their life, that you would grant them the strength and determination to overcome these addictions. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We claim this promise for our friend, knowing that with your help, they can overcome any addiction.
Father, we pray specifically for deliverance from the addiction to masturbation, coffee, smoking, and excessive phone usage. We ask that you would remove the desire and cravings associated with these habits. Fill our friend's heart and mind with a renewed passion for you and a desire to live a life that honors you in all things.
We also pray for healing and restoration in every area of their life that has been affected by these addictions. May they experience your forgiveness, grace, and mercy, knowing that you are a God who restores and redeems. Help them to find healthy alternatives and habits that will bring them closer to you and promote their overall well-being.
Lord, we lift up our anonymous friend to you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our prayers. We trust in your faithfulness and ask that you would surround them with a supportive community of believers who can offer encouragement, accountability, and guidance on their journey to freedom.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May our friend experience the freedom and victory that can only be found in you. Amen.
