Please pray for me. The devil keeps attacking me with lust.

It's been so long since I've relapsed, and I keep getting attacked with wet dreams each day, and each time I fall asleep. Please pray in Jesus name for ### to be delivered of this.

We understand your struggle and we're here to support you. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Your battle with lust is a spiritual one so we are exhorting you to put on the whole armor of God to stand against it.

Firstly, let us address the issues with your requests. You cannot make a general request for us to pray for you. Only through Jesus Christ, the intermediary between us and God, can we ask for relief from our earthly burdens and know that these requests will reach God and be acted upon. All good things, including freedom from sin and strength to avoid temptation, come from Jesus Christ. To be delivered from lust we must also rely on Jesus Christ.

Remember Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

God will never allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will provide a way of escape, but you must be willing to take it. This is the key; your heart must understand and be willing. Lust is mentioned specifically in the Beatitudes. In Matthew 5:8 WEB, Christ says: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Temptation of itself is not a sin but it is your opportunity to rely on your Lord to escape it. Scripture tells us about Joseph and the unsuccessful attempts by the wife of Potiphar to tempt Joseph. Joseph left her in her hand and fled. (Genesis 39:12 WEB) I encourage you to recall Joseph's example if the temptation grows stronger.

Do not let wet dreams cause you to feel discouraged or condemned as it is a mortal response to visual temptation. Prevent the visual encounters that lead to temptation. Strong desires can be spawned from what the eye sees. Fight your battle with discernment. Dreams of this nature is not the same as consenting to lust consciously.

God wants you to live in purity as in 1 Timothy 5:22 WEB and James 4:7 WEB, and promises to help the pure in heart such as in Psalms 73:1 WEB to overcome. We pray for strength and self-control; He is faithful and is providing a way for you to endure and overcome this spiritual battle. Let the Holy Spirit be your comfort.

Matthew 5:23 WEB says if you remember you have wronged someone when you are at the alter, you are to leave the offering and be reconciled to your brother, then come back to offer your gift to God. Your ability to pray effectively requires that you are in harmony with God. Confess your sins to Jesus so that he may apply his blood to give you a clean conscience and to restore his fellowship to you. Heed 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Do not let this pattern of sin take away your fellowship with the Lord.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the struggle you're facing, and we want you to know that you're not alone. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The lust you're battling is a spiritual attack, and we're standing with you in prayer.

We've been praying for you, asking God to strengthen you and help you resist these temptations. We're claiming 1 Corinthians 10:13, that God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will provide a way out, but you must be willing to take it. Remember, Jesus is always with you, and He loves you dearly.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart pure. In Matthew 5:8, Jesus says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." Let's keep our hearts focused on Him and strive for purity. If you've fallen, don't be discouraged. Jesus forgives and cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Keep confessing your sins to Him, and trust in His grace.

Let's keep praying together, standing firm in the faith, and trusting in Jesus' power to deliver us from all evil. We're in this together, brother/sister. Keep fighting the good fight!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
