Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Taeweth, who is seeking clarity and guidance regarding whether to attend a new church that focuses on deliverance. Lord, we ask for your wisdom and discernment to be upon Taeweth as they make this decision. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in you with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge you in all our ways, and you will direct our paths. We pray that you would make your will clear to Taeweth and guide them in the right direction.
Father, we lift up Taeweth's struggle with smoking. We know that addiction can be a difficult battle, but we believe in the power of your Holy Spirit to bring freedom and deliverance. We ask that you would strengthen Taeweth's resolve to quit smoking and grant them the grace to overcome this habit. Your Word assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that you will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and you will provide a way of escape. We pray for that way of escape to be made evident to Taeweth and for your Spirit to empower them to resist the temptation to smoke.
Lord, we also lift up Taeweth's struggle with doubting your goodness and wrestling with the existence of evil in the world. We ask for your peace to flood their heart and mind, and for the truth of your love and righteousness to be revealed to them. Help Taeweth to understand that you are a just and loving God, and that evil and suffering are a result of the fallen world we live in. Your Word reminds us in Romans 8:28 that you work all things together for the good of those who love you. We pray that Taeweth would find comfort and solace in your promises and that their faith in you would be strengthened.
Lastly, we lift up Taeweth's depression and the heaviness they are experiencing. We ask for your healing touch upon their mind and emotions. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray for your comfort and peace to surround Taeweth, and for you to lift the burden of depression from their shoulders. Fill them with your joy and give them the strength to rise up and face each day with hope and renewed purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the Lord bless you, Taeweth, and may His love and grace be poured out upon you abundantly. Remember that you are not alone in your struggles, and that God is always with you, ready to guide, heal, and restore. Keep seeking Him and His truth, and trust that He will lead you on the path of righteousness.
