Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up Fydonage in prayer. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask that You draw near to Fydonage during this time of deep sorrow and overwhelming anxiety.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Healer. Your Word in Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for You are the one I praise." We ask for Your healing touch upon Fydonage's heart, mind, and spirit. Please lift the heavy burden of depression and anxiety, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we also pray for comfort in the midst of grief. Your Word in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reminds us that You are the "Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles." Surround Fydonage with Your loving presence and provide solace in the memory of a dear, sweet husband.
We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, Lord. May Fydonage feel Your presence and find strength in Your promises. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
