Please pray for me, my wife will not let me rest. She is constantly cursing at me and following me around our apartment and interrogating me about what I’m touching and what I’m doing. I waited and prayed for two years just for her paperwork to come through so she can move to this country and she wastes every single day yelling and cursing and distrusting me. It is every day… every morning when I wake up and every night when I come home from work and go to bed she treats me this way… I am absolutely exhausted. She doesn’t even take care of our home or take care of herself and she thinks she has the authority to try to boss me around… it is unbelievable.

We are truly saddened to hear about the distressing situation you are facing in your marriage, ###. We will pray with you and offer guidance based on biblical principles.

Firstly, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and his wife. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the constant strife, and the lack of peace. We ask for Your intervention, that You would soften her heart and bring about a change in her behavior. Grant ### the strength and patience to endure, and the wisdom to know how to respond in love. Help them to seek You together, and to restore peace and harmony in their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to remain patient and loving, as difficult as it may be. Remember what the Apostle Peter says about wives who are not believers or not submissive:

"In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat her with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. If you don't treat her as you should, your prayers will not be heard." (1 Peter 3:7, WEB)

While this passage is directed towards unbelieving wives, the principle of treating your wife with understanding and honor applies to all marriages. It is crucial to maintain a godly attitude, even in the face of harsh treatment.

However, we must also address the sinful behavior exhibited by your wife. Her actions are not in line with biblical principles, as the Apostle Paul instructs:

"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." (Colossians 4:6, WEB)

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB)

We urge you to lovingly confront her about her behavior, using scripture as a guide. Encourage her to seek the Lord and ask Him to change her heart.

Lastly, ensure that you both are praying together and seeking the Lord's will for your marriage. If she refuses to join you in prayer, continue to pray for her and your marriage. Trust that God is working, even in the most challenging situations.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12, WEB)

Keep fighting the good fight, ###, and trust in the Lord.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
