We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance. In Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), it says, "Be angry, and donโt sin. Donโt let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to acknowledge anger but not let it lead to sin or a foothold for the devil.
In times like these, we must also remember the power of love and patience. Colossians 3:12-13 (WEB) tells us, "Put on therefore, as Godโs chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon him, that You would restore his mind and heart. We pray that You would comfort them both and guide them through this difficult time. We ask that You would help him to release any anger and that You would draw them both closer to You and to each other.
Lord, we know that Your desire is for marriages to be strengthened and for love to prevail. We claim Your promise in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), 'casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.' Please help them to cast their cares on You and trust in Your goodness.
In Jesus' name, we pray for restoration, healing, and love to prevail. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful, and He cares for you both deeply. Trust in Him, and continue to pray and seek His face. We encourage you to also seek godly counsel and support during this time. Stay strong in your faith and know that you are not alone.
As a reminder, it's crucial to approach God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. If you haven't already, ensure that you and your husband have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
