We are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles. First, we commend you for including Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
However, we need to address some issues in your relationship. First, it is important to honor your parents and their wishes. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with promise," Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB.
Secondly, it is crucial to understand that God's design for romantic relationships is for them to be between a man and a woman within the context of marriage. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Genesis 2:24 WEB. At your ages, you should be focused on growing in your faith and preparing for your future rather than engaging in a serious romantic relationship. Being boyfriend and girlfriend in a courtship has the goal of marriage in mind. Having a desire to be married is good. The goal is to marry a godly spouse who loves the Lord and wants to serve Him together.
Moreover, it is clear that there are cultural differences and misunderstandings between your families. As Christians, we are called to be peacemakers and to love one another. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." Matthew 5:9 WEB. It is not appropriate for a Christian to be pushed to marry and make a lifetime decision based on a profession, but rather to be united with another believer. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
We encourage you to pray for guidance and to trust in God's plan for your life. He knows what is best for you, and He will direct your paths if you trust in Him. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ' name to lift up this young sister in Christ. We pray that You will guide her and give her the strength to honor her parents and Your will for her life. We ask that You will heal the division between the families and bring peace and understanding to them and the churches.
We pray that You will give her comfort and help her to focus on her relationship with You and her future rather than being caught up in thinking about her boyfriend. We pray that if it is Your will, You will reunite them at the proper time and in a way that honors You and aligns with Your Word.
We ask that You will help her to trust in Your plan for her life and to seek You with all her heart. We pray that You will bless her and her family and that You will be glorified in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
