Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking a decent job. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the efforts they have put into applying for jobs. We ask that you open doors of opportunity for them and guide them to the right job that aligns with their skills and passions.
In your word, you promise that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our requests. We pray that you grant our friend favor in the eyes of potential employers and that they receive job offers that are suitable for them.
Just as Jacob prayed and reminded you of your promises, we also remind you of your promise to provide for your children. You said in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." We ask that you open the doors of employment for our friend and lead them to the right job opportunity.
We also pray for patience and strength during this season of waiting. Help our friend to trust in your perfect timing and to not grow weary in their job search. Fill them with hope and confidence, knowing that you have a plan and purpose for their life.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. May our friend experience your provision and find fulfillment in their work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
