Please pray for me. I'm depressed I'm having a hard time dealing with my life. My son is giving me a hard time. He's lazy and doesn't do what he's supposed to do. He has been struggling with High School for a while. He just can't graduate then I have a husband who doesn't do what he's supposed to either. He's lazy won't get a job or fix his car. He just doesn't do anything at all. I feel like they're holding me back because I have to deal with their laziness. I have been stress and full of anxiety because of this. I haven't been doing well health-wise. Please pray for me
I want to share this testimony. I prayed with a woman on here whos son was struggling in his classes, he was this and he was that, and I said, what if you change your perspective of him. Instead of seeing him the way you see him, start speaking what you want to see. So we started declaring and decreeing her son was smart, quick, excellent. He had a sound mind, a right mind the mind of Christ. God causes him to be excellent. She wrote me a couple weeks ago and told me he had passed his classes!
Ask the Lord to show you how He sees your son. Look through His lens of love. You will see a totally different person. ONe who is quick to learn, smart, has wisdom, gains understanding and knowledge. He is capable of accomplishing all this tasks because he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him.
There was a young person on her who had tried 4 times to get her drivers license. I responded back with, instead of saying I've failed four times, start saying I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. She took her drivers test and when she came to a particular question she didn't know the answer, she said, I can do this, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. She passed. She wrote me, so excited.
It's not about our agenda, but God's plan for your son. He already said he is more than a conqueror, he is victorious, triumphant and victorious. I actually see your son finishing school with great scores.
You have a son that has greatness in him. God created him for greatness, with amazing potential. It really is aligning ourselves up to God's perspective. Ask the Lord to show you how He sees your son.
AS for them holding you back, no, you are holding yourself back. Here is a quote I found in a book and it's true.
"What you say about yourself means more than what everyone else says. All you have to do is agree with God. What do you say? The devil and the world say that you are going to fail, and God says you're going to succeed. Whichever one your tongue agrees with is what determines what will come to pass. Agree with what God says about your."
Father, thank you for loving this family and seeing greatness in them. They come from a line of champions, Christ Jesus is their lineage. Help this parent to see themselves as you see them. Successful, favored. Then help them see their children being voices for the kingdom of God. Thank you that these kids will graduate high school with good scores and their lives blessed with wonderful spouses and amazing children. And this person's life fulfilled because Greater is He that is in them, then he that is in the world. In Jesus name. Amen.
